Simply amazing! I am still trying to recover but it was such an awesome time. Met so many amazing people and most of all I feel like I challenged myself and grew a lot. I was a bit dissapointed that my subjects didn’t show on Saturday morning for our photo show. I even went over to their trailer to try and pick them up b/c they have no car. However I called Charles today and there is great news. They moved out of the trailer and into a house for rent on Sunday! And out of all the houses they were looking at, this one was Charles’ favorite. I remember walking with them past this house. It was located on a great street, nice neighborhood.

Never in a million years would I have ever thought to have a connection with somebody like Charles but as the week went on, knowing their struggle and story, I felt more emotionally involved.  Charles later had called the hotel I was staying at that Saturday night, and the hotel owner left a post-it note on the table saying that he had called. I felt it might be too late to return the call, since they go to sleep at like 9:30p.m.!

So I called them back today and heard the great news. Charles said he almost cried b/c we didn’t have an official goodbye. However, I received his new address so I will definitely send them some photos.
